Are you looking for healthy meats? Welcome to Bechard Family Farm. Our family farm is dedicated to producing the most nutritious & delicious meats and food possible. Our healthy meats and other products are raised or made right here on our Missouri farm.

Being full-time farmers allows us to be around our animals constantly and know their health and personalities. This benefits you because by knowing our animals, we know which ones will make the best meat. The animals live peacefully on chemical-free pastures, never receiving medication, hormones, or antibiotics. Our meats are good for you, AND...they're tasty!
We offer 5 different pasture-raised meats: chicken, turkey, beef, lamb, and pork. The fresh chickens and turkeys are sold on a pre-order basis. Frozen chickens, turkeys, and all other meats are sold 'as available' year round.
We have pasture-raised eggs, freshly ground whole wheat bread, eleven flavors of homemade jams, and a wide variety of handcrafted lye-soaps.
You won't want to miss the sweet Raw Milk or Bulgarian yogurt from our grass fed Jersey and Jersey-cross cows. We never pasteurize or homogenize our milk. It is always fresh, raw milk. We are 45 minutes NE of Springfield (or 3 hours SW of St. Louis) on I-44. Sorry, we do NOT ship dairy products. Please see our milk page or contact us if you would like more information.
During the farmers' market season (May through October) we bake fresh bread every week. Be sure to call ahead if you'd like us to bake a little extra for you.
All products are available for pick-up at the farm, Monday thru Saturday; and on scheduled dates at Mama Jean's Natural Market in Springfield, MO. It's always good to call ahead to make sure we have what you're coming out for.
